I saw some model IS-3M had a coiled pipe on the top of external fuel tank.I had ever seen some real external fuel tank's photos of IS-3M,The outlet of external fuel tank is at the bottom.So,I want to know that is there any fuel pipes on real IS-3M's external fuel tanks?

Any help will be appreciated! especially for Pics.

Yes, they have thin air hoses on top of the fuel tank. These were used to recharge the compressed air engine starting bottles in the front of the tank.
