So many drooling releases.. BTR-60, 70,70... BRDM's... I agree the T-10 heavy tanks would be great too, also a new T-64's family, also MT-LB's ..
Anyway thanks for the drooling updates Gaoyue !!

I agree Jacques, will I have any money for all these upcoming kits ?

Hi,
I hope Trumpeter will make the early and late engine deck on the BRDM-2 so we can make all different versions which have been used in the past.
Can someone link the BTR-70 in progress pictures from Trumpeter?

What about the BRDM-2 with Sagger missiles? of course a new BRDM-2 with 14.5 MG will be OK, I'd buy the two of them for sure, they're actually in service in Perú, the BRDM-2 with MG serves in the FAP (Fuerza Aérea del Perú - Peruvian Air Force) and the one with Sagger serves in the EP (Ejército Peruano - Peruvian Army). best regards.

Thanks for the answer Gaoyue,
Any word on the other BTR-70 and BRDM-2 variants Trumpeter wants to produce?
Now the most interesting question: How about a YW531/Type 63 APC?
Alex
PS is there a release date for the Type 63 107 mm MLR?

Thank you for your answers and the heads-up. Really good news and I'm looking forward for the BTR and BRDM.
Gaoyue, can you give a hint about the possible release dates for the BTR and BRDM?

I know the thread kind of took a different direction... but I can't help but say thank you for the news, Gaoyue. I've been wanting a BTR60 for a long time. Maybe some Egyptian decals could be included with some of these versions??
Cheers

Gaoyue, this surprising news about the K63 is terrific indeed.
This APC is a long time coming and I personally can't wait for the release.
Have you seen or can you show us any builds of the model?
Cheers Doug.

Sorry, Gaoyue, I couldn't find any pics of Egyptian vehicles with markings on them.
Once, in the past, I tried to ask the guards at a military post if I could take some pics of some old M-60's they had there, and they almost accused me of being a terrorist planning to blow up something

so I'm never going to try that again.
Maybe you could just add some Arabic numbers to the decal sheet, and we could sort out the rest... pretty please

Cheers

I've built the Verlinden BRDM. It wasn't too bad, now here's the kicker. With a dust mask and a Dremel I hollowed out the inside, left the top hatches open and added some basic interior, for a knocked out Desert Storm vehicle in a diorama. It actually turned out pretty good. I can't wait for a decent BTR 60. Remember the old MB Models resin one? What a piece of junk.

The DANA in plastic. Wonderfull.
IF I can only dare ask, is Trumpeter thinking of doing a BMP-2? That vehicle, in particular, needs a true newly tooled kit of it done. I would very seriously recomend it.

That's more GREAT news about the DANA... it is a very nteresting vehicle which will make for a very impressive model.
Two thumbs up to Trumpeter for all these cool kits they are developing
