Certainly a good start,
the stones on the street are near perfect with those grey, red and yellow.
But the swastika on the right is a Finnish swastika, no German woud make that mistake after 12 years of Nazigovernment, if the painter wouldn't have had enough time to finish it, then the legs wouldn't be of the same length, then just two or three would be finished.

I can't read the poster on the 2nd photo, but is says something 1939, but the soldiers are clearly American, who didn't enter Western Europe before 1944. No poster would last for 5 years in the open. (If it's some memorial poster, as I said I can't read it from the photo, then there is no problem with it)

Happy modelling,

Peter

Hey Boray, Good work so far, Although i would personally not use a black wash to shade your figures. try to use darker tones of the base colour to fill the gaps, here are some om my faveorite figure painting tutorials to help
timelines
Calvins 1/16 face
vallejo

these are all i can find for now and my bookmarks have shrunk.
but dotn forget to go into the features section and have a good look, there are great articles on dioramas in there
good luck
