Great Ferdinand, I'd like to hear more how you painted it - airbrushed? It fits well in your scene. Nice job

Nice build overall. Small point, though--you've gone to the trouble of painting the crew up (quite nicely) in SS camouflage uniforms, but the Ferdinand was only operated by the Army's 656th Regiment (which was comprised of the 653rd and 654th Battalions equipped with Ferdinands plus one battalion of Sturmpanzer IV and a B IV demolition vehicle unit as well). Photos in Karlheinz Munch's book show the crews in standard field gray Wehrmacht Heer assault artillery uniforms during the Kursk battle.

thanks!! Milvehfan, GregClosecombat i like that CS, Belt_Fed, panzergoth,GeraldOwens, slodder, TheBender,

hey Greg. yea i used a bagger airbrush at 15%

hey Gerald Owens, yea i look at a lot of pics and i found this pic out of OSPREY Kursk 1943 pg 56. so it looked like camo to me so i thought i'd try it. but what a pain in the butt to copy that camo. and i'm working on three tigers and all crews are in that camo UGH. thanks again.

hey Bender hey i'm here in the BIG city of New Carlisle HAHAHA i'm about a mile from WPAFB Museum in Dayton. where are you at. thanks again to all.

Hello
the car and the figures look very well finished, looks good quality,
which I do not like so much the ground, I see very flat, very smooth, I think if you were to irregularities, if you put a stone or rock to gain some herbs and much more.
model that deserves it

Regards
Domi
