Not in WW2. There have been miscaptioned photos of Korean War dozers but all dozers were 75mm gun tanks - not 105s or 76mm gun tanks.

I presume that the Shermans Dozer cited (in WWII and
Korea) used VVSS suspensions and not the HVSS, correct?

The E8 designation indicated the use of the HVSS suspension, so in Korea there were HVSS dozers. In WW2 there weren't any used in combat, there may have been some converted in the States that didn't make it to the front (I am not sure if there were any, just covering my bases.)
