So I grew a pair and decided to weather and detail the M60 based on what many of the users on the original post http://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/139894&page=1
-added stowage from the kit, water bags and tent bags
-added two Marine figures
-added the water cans in the turret basket
-placed Yellow IR film on the vision ports
-chipped tank overall
-added tow cables provided in kit
-spare road wheels
-made antenna's from stretched sprue
-weatthered the tracks with red brow/rust
-dry brushed with weathering stick I found at LHS
This is the first time I use chipping so bear with me. Thanks again to all those that commented on the original post.
Here we go...
I used Yellow IR projector film to put over the vision blocks, its the only thing I could really think of
The tow cables are string included in the kit and I painted them with steel and dry brushed them with rust color I made
The Marines were pretty difficult to paint and I dont have a clue on how to paint the chocolate chip camo from desert storm
Here is a better shot of the vision ports...what do you think??
Up close shot of the chipping on the armor
Over all shot
I painted the headlights!! THANKS SGT SAUER/ BISON126!!
An overall view of the tank
The turret with the flash on
So thats it...its complete, when I get a blue backscreen, I will submit it for the begginers class for the Dragon Model of the Month.
