This vehicle is now nearing completion and is going to need a dio for it. It is basically a Sdkfz 251 with rocket launchers on the side. The inside is no different from a standard. Does this mean it was still used in its primary role as a troop carrier still? Or was it kept as a specialist vehicle? If so what was the size of the crew? The Tamiya kit comes with 4 figures is this right? Also any suggests for a dio would be appreciated.
Many Thanks

According to the New Vanguard book on the Sd.Kfz 251 I bought yesterday, it's primary role as a troop cary was still that. These vehicles supposedly were used to give artillery support where regular artillery was lacking at times. When firing the crew got out of the vehicle and hid a bit further away, as the rocket-fumes were not the healthiest. The crates were disposed of after launch, unless the metal version was still reusable. Then these were brought back if possible. So the crew could be up to 12.
