Has there ever been a 1:35 scale mercedes twin axle touring car made? I don't know the years or type but the kind that Hitler and the big wigs rode around in?

CMK or one of the eastern model makers did a 6 wheeled staff car but I am not sure if it was a mercedes or not. It could have been a praga or similar. :-)

I just spent an evening searching the internet for the very same thing. All I could find was Hasegawa's 1/72 scale MB G4/W31. That's a pretty basic kit and includes 5 sitting and one standing figure.
I wash there was something in 1/35 scale too.

Yes! There was a 1/35 scale G-4 Mercedes Staff car made in the early 70's. It included figures and was made by Tilt models. I got on a Hong Kong model auction site (I'll be darned if I can find it now) and they wanted $250.00 (US) for the thing. You'd be cheaper buying the Praha staff car in resin. One of the biggest items on my wish list is the Mercedes Staff car. I think Italeri or Dragon could do an excellent job and cheaply as well! If you go to a website called www.scalemodelindex.com you'll be able to see a lot of the model related websites. that's where I found the site that mentioned the G-4. Hope this helps. Sorry I couldn't give you the exact site..but I had a lot of time on my hands one day and went through almost the entire alphabet (it's listed a-z). Later Jeff
