I think I'm virtually done, but I'll have to do another round of pics as I'm not happy with the lighting on these- the colors look washed out/bleached out. I have faint falling strokes on the turret and hull sides but they're not showing too well. The Vallejo still water stuck this thing on the scrap wood I had and I almost couldn't get it off!
Any suggestions welcomed. Cheers, Greg Hessig

Great diorama there. Water and groundwork looks great.
I would never have noticed it was 1:48.

wow, well the small scale fooled me, great work. perhaps you could tidy the base edges a bit? maybe bend a thin plywood strip around it or even just file the edges smooth and paint them a dark colour.

Thanks everyone for your comments
@Terry - the grass is from Silflor/mininatur is a German-made railroad product available at scenicexpress.com in US. They do have different sizes of vegatation. See the link under the last pic to see the size of the strips it comes in (very bottom of the thread)
@Luke - you would never know I had an "A" in ceramic pottery at one time looking at my DAS clay base. I should have been a lot more caring there Thanks for the tips so I can work on that.

Hello
That's a very nice build, Must admit that I thought that it was 1/35th.

lol you weren't the only one, especially as tamiya often uses the same poses on thier figures for different scales

Thanks Shaun and again Luke. Should've mentioned how small the book is I guess
Once I work on some more photos, I'll submit a build summary to the features section. Pretty much the same techniques work in all scales I think.
