well hello ladies and gentlemen, my first delve into allied armor for a while, the Hobbyboss (82407) M4 High speed tractor (3-in./90mm) will be my victim for the time being.
the box art is drawing me to a winter finish, but my common sence is telling me to show a dusty vehicle.
overall impressions are good, nice detail, the plastic is Akin To DML, being hard, and slightly difficult to work with. there is one mistake i have caught up on so far, and that is the fact the drive wheel is the solid faced version, as opposed to the drivewheel with ?lightening/strengthening? holes
as seen here
walkaround

im looking forward to this.!
thanks for watching

It's a good kit. One thing shown on the box, but not in the kit, is the tarp over the rear compartment. I used lead foil for mine, but on reflection tissue paper may have been a better option.

Hey Dave, i saw that when browsing the net, ! im not sure what im gonna use to make it tho.

well, i ahve made some progress tonight

how does one make this?

with these

drivewheel

idler

return roller constrution

idler holder

Blank canvas

on with the assemble on wich to attach the Drivewheel

and the retur rollers

on with the idler

and on with the drivewheel( both dry fit to fit the tracks) and the bogies

and the tracks

the tracks were very sloppy, so i removed 2 links from each side for a tighter fit

Just be careful with the suspension as it's a bit fragile with small contact areas. You've got it together fine, but mine all fell off when I applied the oil/thinners wash and had to be re-assembled with superglue!

That happened on mine as well, also the cab is pretty fiddly to get to fit right.
