Hola Carlos
The cornice looks great as mentioned, and the toothpick method is a logical step from using different wire gauges for curved applications.
Good stuff

Once again, brilliant stuff! Carlos, I'm interested what is the purpose of the newspaper on the side of the building (on the stone)?

,
hello Bajtur, the news paper has several functions, serve to hide the union between the pieces and also it serves to give slight variations of texture in a material. In order to secure an interesting effect in a wall it must have several textures. This paper serves so that the cork loses uniformity and can simulate old paint in the facade

You have found good solutions to create several textures and not just the cork structure. This will be another artwork when finished. I look forward for updates of this educational topic. G.
