Hi!
I have been a member for quite some time now but I haven't posted any of my work jet. There's lot of scratch buildings popping up here so why not join in.
I'm doing a Normandy dio with a Italeri Staghound with Voyager PE. The model with PE was kindly donated by Vinnie B. who runs Model Armour forum so if you want to see the WIP build (still in progress) go check out the mentioned forum.
I went to Moson this year and had the pleasure to talk to Carlos (blockhaus) about his cork buildings. At Moson I bought a Concord book -Battle on Two Fronts (7048) an on page 11 I saw my inspiration. This two things motivated me to try a scratch building.

Hi Bajtur,
Glad to see your work here, and glad also that you have obtanied this good result in your first work with cork.
I want suggest you two things: sand a bit the plaster and cover the core cardboard structure in all windows and doors, a strip of cardboard of 10 mm thick from a corn flake box or a kit box will be usseful, with this you can reproduce the real thick of the wall.
Hope that you find easy and rewarding work with this material
greetings

Thank you very much Carlos!
Yes, I have already sanded the plaster. I will work on the inside of the house as soon as I fix up some small details. Please, comment as many times as you wish.

A little update. I'm slowly progressing
And the figures finally arrived
I will be using two figures from this set and I will try to resculpt some old figure to make a tank commander.

I guess I should update this thread. Along side the vehicle I slowly worked on the base and the figures. As I had no intention of buying a driver figure for my Stag I heavily converted some old Italeri figure. I guess it's time too get more involved in figure sculpting so this is my first attempt. The pointing figure had his hand reworked as well.
As always suggestions are very welcome.

Cool one! Like what you done with the roof, and yep, the Staghound is really nicely painted without any excesses. Don't forget a bit of rubble on the streets!

Really nice modelling, but I have a small concern about composition. The infantry are quite animated, as if they are in a combat situation. The Staghound commander however....he looks like he's 5 miles behind the lines cleaning his fingernails without a care in the world.
But everything else is super
