Hi guys,
I'm in the process of converting a Italeri M-923 into a guntruck and I was wondering about the way the crewmember is manning the .50 on the roof.
I suppose he is standing on some kind of structure inside the cabin, for otherwise he will not be able to reach the .50.
Does anyone know how that structure looks or does anyone has pictures of the inside ?
Sure hope that someone can help me !

This model seems to show the relationship of the seat and the .50 cal really well. Third phot down.

It just looks like they stand on the seat. Not a job for short asses!

Yes, the gunner simply stands on the seat. The seat back actually folds down to provide a steady platform and some more height for shorter gunners.

Hi Gino,
That's what i thought seeing some manuals on Tpub.
But i also found some pictures where the gunner stands on the same height as the folded windscreen.
That's why i was wondering if he was standing on some kind of platform.
Anyway, thanks for your reply !!

When the bench seat is folded down, the back of it is covered with tread plate for a non -slip area to stand on. Same as with the M35 series trucks.
