My very first mini air compressor and airbrush arrived today, and straight away I have a problem with pumping out air but no paint, it began to spray paint then stopped, now although I've cleaned everything twice it still won't spray paint only air, anyone got any ideas why this is ? I've gone through the trouble shooting bit in the book, but there's typically nothing on this problem.

hi alec what paint r u useing? have u thinned it mate . when i first started to use vallejo paint had that problem but just had to fined the right ratio of water and paint .hope this helps try posting this question in the painting section some one will be able to help

I would try spraying water through it first and see that the brush functions properly.
Then move to very thin paint, and then work on getting the thinning ration right.
