That is either a bad photo of the smoke, or its so fine I can't see it, if its that straw like stuff, I'd rather stick to my cotton torn and pinched.

The picture above looks very much like snow. The stuff around the Thai fighter looks better though.
A nice attempt at achieving one of the four "impossible" elements in diorama making. Those being fire, water spray, dust and smoke. However, it does not achieve it to my satisfaction... to the extent that I would buy the product anyway.

I've seen nicer smoke made of simple cotton here...
Good idea but it needs some improvement.

Sorry, Not impressed with the photos, or the video.
Looks like painted and pulled out cotton balls.
But the music was nice, and builds suspense, but the ending and end product was a total let down.

I don't know if it'll ever be possible to model truly realistic looking smoke. Looks like we have a ways to go still.

Thanks for the info, but I also agree that it is quite the impossible dream to achieve successful smoke. That said, there is the opportunity for some individual to fluke their own convincing technique once in a blue moon and never do so again, but to have a spray that would replicate those results at will for any modeller? Nah.

The stuff around the Thai fighter looks better though.
So here I was, thinking boxing ring, taped feet etc and smoke!

i think this product has been marketed as the wrong thing. it looks nothing like smoke, but could be used effectively to make water spray. i'm thinking shells exploding in water here...

Thanks for the review Pat .................
Not a review Glenn! A news story.
I do write reviews, I work hard at it and hopefully they amount to more than reporting that something is available and adding pics from the manufacturer.
This isn't a review.

Great build on the Models but the smoke lacks a little finesse.

Nope, it doesn't work for me (at least). However, at least here's a manufacturer who IS trying to solve problems like simulation of smoke. IMO, good for them. It seems that a lot of the time every time a New product or approach is presented, then it immediately becomes the subject of some pretty lame jokes. EXCEPTION - the Comic Book Guy comment was very funny...
Saying that, and saying it again, thank the little plastic gods, that there ARE manufacturers who are trying to develop new products and improve on what we already have.
So, maintain the critical faculties, but show a degree of restraint as well? If I want 'pithy' there are a lot of Shock Jocks out there who do it a LOT better...

Well, I give them credit for the effort but I'm not convinced that you can model realistic smoke with this product.
I'm not convinced that there were any panzer grey Jagdtigers either

While it might make pretty unconvincing 'smoke', surely this product could be employed over a wire armature tree to make halfway decent foliage...
Most trees are actually pretty 'dense' in appearance and I have a feeling this product might be helpful in replicating that effect in scale.

Yea Me too, not much agood at making smoke. I bet it could be used for other effects like soot or used on burnt out hulks or burnt out buildings. i think any animation in dio's is very hard to obtain. One of the best animated Dio's I've seen is the early King Tiger 13 smashing through a wall in Normandy You know the one its awsome, cant find an image of it . Maybe someone can post an image of it. Well worth a look. geraint
