Either white glue or carpenters glue will serve the purpose.

Fabritac works well too......it is used for gluing fabric. Dont know were you are located but most craft stores have it.

rob donnelly - a little story, I normally build 1-350 and smaller, and its a pain to get metal to stick to plastic, you name it I've tried it, then one day I built a small diorama, a whippet tank that I wanted on plaster, glue simply dried up, zap super glue done a wonderful job of sticking my fingers together, then by temper more then skill, I wiped the tracks over a big blob of gel, by the morning the tank had stuck fast, this stuff does NOT stick your fingers nor does dry up, it even works on 1-700 sailors, acrylic gel medium, use it and you won't be sorry.

I added some wires for strength between the parts and then used white glue.
HTH!
Cheers!
