Hi,
I am doing a WW1 diorama and need a figure without a shirt on. The Diorama will be based in the desert. I understand New Connections did an AFRIKA corp figure with no shirt on which would have been perfect but cannot find the kit anywhere. Does anyone know of any other companies who do figures without shirts and preferably in shorts.
TIA
Cheers

Hi Damian,
There are probably several out there that do. Two that come to mind that I know have shirtless figures are Tamiya and Italeri.
Tamiya has some British soldiers that are shirtless and wearing shorts.
Italeri has a German radio operator that is shirtless and wearing shorts.
I imagine that Verlinden, Warriors and some of the others have them as well but like I said those are two that I know of.

And more are needed IMO. Multi heads and hands are available, why not torsos and limbs?
Axis/allied shorts types in standing or sit poses can't be that hard to make up into sets and then market.
You've got NA for all the combatants except Russia/Finland,and Japan. Move into southern Russia and you include the Soviets.
PTO? Heck,just about everybody again!
Just a stray marketing thought I guess ............
