Hello,
I was wondering if there were any photos out there on the net of the supplemental anti-aircraft sheet armor that was supposed to be installed on the Panther G? I am currently working on the Voyager kit and have been trying to find references. After some forum searching I found the Panzerwrecks 1 book is supposed to have some so I placed my order. However, I was wondering if there was anything out there I could use for reference in the interim.
Thanks,
Matt

Well, my DML Panther G Early, came with that extra armor, not really a reference, but here's a picture
I have some pictures of it painted, but it seems like you are asking aobut the armor, this is the best picture I have uploaded, shows the spacing and bolts used to hold the 2 sheets in place.

Thanks, that helps. I'm trying to figure out what the spacing is on the sheets, hence trying to find pictures of the real thing. The Voyager set has three washers that go between the plates and a 0.4 mm rod that runs through them. On the real thing, are there spacers between the armor wider than the posts?

PanzerWrecks in several volumes has pictures of Panther-G's with the turret roof armour.
That picture is from PanzerWrecks 1, and additional pictures are in PanzerWrecks 5.

Thanks everyone. I got the Panzerwrecks 1 book and the photos are very clear but still can't show any details of the posts between the sheets. I'm just going to use the darned spacers and be happy with it and stop overthinking. It's on a Panther Ausf F anyways so historical accuracy concerns might be a just a tad silly on my part!
