I took the following photos at an engineer equipment display for Exercise Constant Makefast at CFB Kingston yesterday. the first is the Mobile Tactical Vehicle-engineer (MTVE) which is an MTVL with the hydraulic tools auger and dozer

The second is the LAV III Engineer with a Pearson Engineering Surface Munitions Clearance Device (SMCD) attached.

Both will be deployed in equal numbers to our Combat Engineer Regiments. Two troops of four MTVL for one field squadron and two troops of four LAV III Engr for the other field squadron.

Jim, Unfortunately the LAV III is a totally different vehicle than the LAVs out in kit form. It is the same base vehicle as the Stryker which is significantly larger than the earlier LAVs and Bisons. Neither the LAV nor MTVL variants are intended to be amphibious.
