Hi folks,
I just thought I'd let you know what I've been up to. After making my huge Endor platform I couldn't think of anything to beat it. I needed another fix but what?
How's about writing a Photo novel, I could build loads of Dioramas and sets and put them into a story...
To make a photo novel I need to create dioramas, customise figures and vehicles, take photos and edit them and oh, write a story as well. The challenge is huge, but very rewarding as I am learning lots of new skills.
Here is what I have produced so far.
(Once again, I apologise to all those hard core military folk out there who may take offence to some Scifi on your forum. I have previously begged the Editor to include my work here as the feedback I get from model makers on this site has been invaluable. I suppose if anyone wants this post removed, it can be). I am hoping that this post may encourage others into making WW2 photonovels, like the old Commando comics I used to read as a kid.
Here are some teaser images...

Interesting concept - stopmotion meets cartoons.
So when to construct the scenes and when to use photoshop ?
Cheers/Jan

Thanks Jan,
In answer to your question, I use Photoshop to enhance images in order to give them a "film noir" look. I also use Photoshop to save me having to make complex sets, like cockpits for example.
I had intended on making all of the sets needed from scratch, but it simply would have taken up too much time. I came to the conclusion that if Lucas can use tons of bluescreen, then why can't I.
