Hey Larry ,
Looks like you got through the operation successfully...congrats on that.
I don't think there is any RR scale that equates to 1:35 but I'm sure some RR buffs will know more about that.
'O' scale might be close?
Cheers,
Charles

Hi Larry! Good to see you made it through the operation OK. Closest RR guage to 1/35 scale is called #1scale or scale 1. Pretty rare in the Americas and only slightly less so in Europe. Try online RR clubs or evilBay to get an idea.

let me think for a minute
HO is 1/87
O is1/43 or was that 1/48?
G is 1:24
then there is N and Z scale but they are way off
checking the source of all knowledge in the universe called Wikipedia there are more exotic scales that come more close to 1:35, but the question is if you find an appropriate train in that scale. Can't you perhaps motorize a static 1:35 model?

It is good to see you are nearly fit and well again (thanks for the PM).
It may be worth contacting some of the manufacturers ref the work you are doing, as public relations are good for the company and get them cheap advertising. I also would go with motorizing one of the 1/35th scale trains rather than trying to use an excisting scale.

Hi Larry, congrats on the success of your surgery and God Bless you and keep you. I know that Trumpeter makes a 1/35 locomotive and some rolling stock. There are other mfrs. as well like DML that make rolling stock. It seems like you have a full plate with this one . Good luck and post some foto's
