I usually build German armor but this is my first US open turret tank so please excuse the stupid question, but was the turret interior and the gun painted olive drab, or white?Any info is great. thanks

hi i build m10 duckbill from academy and in the box ,there were pictures of it alredy build on then ,the turret was paint on olive drab , i did the same and paint it in olive drab,also many other allied tanks that had the open turret had it the same color as the body tank.

it would definetly be olive drab or other kinds of greens. through out the war the white recognition stars on allied tanks gave a good target to axis tanks and aircraft. same with the open topped tanks having a white turret interior, it would make a really good strafing target for the luftwaffe if it was white.
