Greetings
I want to scratch build a European electrical substation for a diorama and am looking for any pictures/ books for reference.
(Ideally I’m looking for exterior and interior images of a rural electrical Sub/transformer station house from the Netherlands circa WW 2. However, any WW2 or preWW2 era images of continental European electrical substations will be useful.)
The only company that I know of that sells an electrical sub station is Plus model (Village Transformer House http://www.plusmodel.cz/karta_en.php?id=103) but Feel it’s not detailed enough for my needs.
Any help greatly appreciated

Hi Pat,
Here are some links that show (smaller) 'transformatorhuisjes' in the Netherlands, most of them are from the 1930's. Hope this helps a little.

Mark-
Thanks so much for these photo's-they will help me. No 10 looks almost like the Plus-model kit.
A friends father said he pulled guard duty guarding a rural substation during WW2 (which is what i'm basing my dio on)
It doesn't look like any caretaker or guard could live or bunk in one (meaning the larger ones)
Maybe he meant he had a shack next to it.
Anyway
thanks again
