Reading through two of Tankograds books on US-Forces during Reforger (Book2,3) I came across a number of pictures with vehicles hiding at the border of a mostly grown-up corn or maize field.
How would one represent such a field in 1:35 scale?
Thanks in advance,
Michael

I've seen this done with a few things,
1. Old paint brush brissles cut to length and glued like grass.
2. Manufactured products like Woodland scenics Tall Grass
3. Corn Silk, harvest the silk from corn on the cob dry it seal it and use like the 1st two sources.

you can make corn stalks from florist wire that has been wraped with paper leaves and use rice for the corn itself. cut your wire to leagth and pre cut your paper about 15mm, pointed at one end and slightly wider at the base. wrap your paper leaves around a spare wire, then glue to wire. work this up to your desired height, add painted corn, paint and plant. I just finished a scene wth bullrushs this way too. one thing is that the painted paper does become brittle after awhile so you want your tank placed on the ground first and then drill your holes to plant.
