Some time ago I presented here this litle corner. I do it with cork, carboard and acuarium peebles. Now my friend Jorge López start painting and out in a diorama the piece adding a lot of rubble.

Carlos - That is one awesome ruin you and Jorge have teamed up on. I don't know if you can improve on perfection but, I would add a bit or two of civilian wreckage, a broke chair, a bent bicycle a broke clay pot, something. I wish I could be half as good as you two are. Please share more of your work ! Thank you, Tom

Great cooperation, the build and the painting looks just very good!
One question though, what about your painting skills? You don't like painting? Just curious!

Thanks guys for your nice words.
Ths pieces starts only as a probe for use acuarium peebles, now I have a best idea how this material can be used.I want show also that a little corner can be more than a "L" shape and can include a combination of rigth and curved lines.Really this piece was a "probing ground" for material, space and shape :-)
Chris, yes this style of construction can be seen in all mediterranean arch and probably in other sites far away.
Tom , yes this scene need civilian wreckage of course, we will add worken pottery and other sings of every day life
Jelger, I have a problem with my paint skills: I can do every form that I have in my head, but never reach the same with the colour. I know What colour I want but never find the way for paint exactly .
cheers
Carlos

Hi Carlos,
Excellent looking build and I really like the outside of the building. If I've read you post correctly there is a little more work to be done on the inside?
Excellent stuff, look forward to seeing it populated with a few bits and bobs.
Another gem to add to your collection.
