dear all
There is a question confused me for a while, when I compared the K98 ammo pouches from dragon models in 1/35, does not matter they are from old kits or from Gen 2, they are obviously larger than other brands .
I mean, I found tamiya, tri-star, master-box, and alpine miniatures. Those 4 brands' K98 ammo pouches are almost identical the same in 1/35 scale.
the best way to solve this issue is to measure a real K98 ammo pouch,
unfortunately I can not find it in China. I do ask one of my friend for help,
and his conclusion was that dragon's pouch was oversized.
I am not sure his conclusion, but I do doubt dragon's K98 ammo pouches are oversized. By the way, this is the only incorrect size equipment in dragon Gen 2. I noticed on PMMS, Terry claimed him
measured many of dragon Gen2 equipment, like 98K, masks and so on. they are all in correct size, however, tamiya, tri-stat are undersized.
I am not sure whether dragon's K98 ammo pouches arec oversized, but I am sure you may help me
many thanks

Hi Ji,
I would like also to know which piece of equipment from which manufacturer is correct or more correct. In one os Osprey's book (the one from Jaume Ortiz) they say that the bread bags and hand gun holster from Dragon are small and would like to know whether it is true or not.
Regarding guns I think that Dragon's are overscale (specialy 2Gen).
Thanks in advance,
Angel

A quick search on the web got a lot of info on the M98 pouch. The general measurements of the pouch is roughly, 7 1/2" wide, 3 3/4" tall, and 1 1/2" thick.

hi
I read Jaumez's Book, it is a bit strange they mentioned Dragon's breadbag is undersized.
in the meanwhile, I forget to mention in previous post, that the german bottle from dragon's Gen 2 actually is not as good as old kit, it missed some detials in Gen 2
Paul,
I can not open your link, pity!.

The hyperlink can't work with url with an apostrophe, you have to copy this to the url of your browser instead.

You can go direct to the home page but it took quite a while to find the M98 page from there.
