Well,
This is sort'of an armor topic. While on vacation I spotted this little gem.
Even on vacation I has Armorama in the back of my mind. Couldn't resist getting some shot of this. You can check out all the shot in my MSN album in the second link.

Good picture though. and the paint scheme doen't look all that complex...........

Would be a good subject to model as an entry for a HMMWV Campaign next year...

The guys in the motor pool on the left said they (the black and white) and command Hummer are military re-hash, purchased second hand and refurbished.

There were a couple of other 3 color camo scheme in the same line looking in rough shape.

I was thinking about the HMMWV campaign as I was taking pictures, so we'll see. It's a really good likely hood.

Scott
Thanks for posting the pictures. Great stuff! Was the vehicle next to it a command vehicle or is it used as an ambulance?

Charles - Not sure about the ambulance version vs. command. There were no lights or red crosses so I assumed command version on that one.

Steve - it sure is Top Sail NC. Great place to visit and work on relaxation!!!

The county where I live just got one of those and they use it for a clandestine drug lab or crime scene vehicle. I would bet that's what that one is for too.
