Hello gentlemen,

It's been a while since my last post about it. I've started This one 6 months ago, and the ground build log can be seen here
As some of you know, I've been busy on the Crete diorama. there.

So here are few pics on this project, the groundwork hadn't changed a lot, but the Panther is now an Ausf. F.
I would have like a friend of mine build it for me, unfortunately, it was impossible, so I had to do it myself.

The panther is from DML
Photoetched part by Griffon Models and Voyager Models
The tracks (not finished) are from friul.

As you may notice, there is still a few work to be done on it.

Hi there!

I think this vehicle is more suitable for a "what-if" project like this. I love the groundwork, it looks really "mountainlike"! Maybe some more ferns?

Sorry for interupting your thread Alex; but Martyn I typed "LIKE THIS" this Panther F is more suitable for this diorama than the Panther (G)? you can see in the other thread.

PS: What about the camouflage for the tank?

looking good. i can't find any faults at all with the tank. i think the grass in the dio needs dry brushing though to brake up the monotonous airbrushed look. I would advise quite a light green (unless the high altitude is supposed to have pretty much killed the grass of course). it's amazing how light you can go without ruining it.

Alexandre, nice to see you didn't abandoned this project. I'm looking forward to see how you tackle the Panzer.

Little update with the very beginning of the painting stages.
The figure is primed with Citadel Black Chaos, then the helmet is painted using hairspray way, glued to the head after.
I apologize for the pics quality..
I'm planning to realize a leibermuster pattern on the trousers of this one.

This is an interesting and nice work, since I love the panther F too.
Btw, the figure is from which maker? Or, you built it by yourself from the bottom?
The pose that the figure has looks very realistic with great details.

The leibermuster won't be easy, but I will give it a try.

Hi Nam, thanks, I like the ausf F too.
This figure can be found in the Nemrod Range, it's sculpted by C. Camillotte and get a very very lifelike pose and a lot of great details.

Very few soldiers at the end of the war seems to have been issued with it.

Alex. Awsome. Been Following this one for a LOOOOOONG time. The F looks great, more suited than the late G you was using. Who makes the Tanker? I also have a home for him, I want to change his head though. Looking forward to the paint job on the F, pretty much anything goes, mind you I think Octopus was going to be the next camo order?Looks Great on a King Tiger, never seen a Panther wearing it?
