Does anyone know where I can find info on the jagdtiger that had / used the 88mm gun

I don't know if you'll find much if any, as I think only 4 of these were made. I do know that they were designated as Panzerjäger Tiger mit 88mm Pak 43/3 (Sf) Sd.Kfz.185.

You could try posting over at tank net...they had some discussions about 2 years ago concerning this vehicle as someone had RECOVERED a 88mm armed jagdtiger from somewhere in poland and it was being prepared to be auctioned off...not sure what all came of it, but it was pretty interesting.
