No OOB here on this kit, I'll be using the Griffon PE's, (review pending) Griffon's Gun Shield, Ready ammo rack, and Stowage Compartment on this kit provided to me thru Armorama and Griffon (Shameless plug). No aftermarket barrel on this one I'm afraid.
Check JB Model, one of your sponsor's, they might have one. (I know, another shameless plug.)

Not much done, but it's a start.

Another teaser post tonight. Sorry, I'll have some tomorrow, promise. I did run into some minor challenges, if you've build the M2 half-track already then you know about being careful with part #'s A40, Brake Master cylinder, C29, and C30 the adjustment rods for the rear sprocket assembly.

UPDATE: Just letting you all know I've done some work on the M3 75mm, but I'm unable to post any photo's at this time due to connection issues with WiFi. Preped the stowage compartment for the Griffon PE replacment compartment. (See Griffon review.) Details forth coming on install also.

Anyways, Here's what I done so far, Started removing shaded areas. Be sure to score the area with your X-acto knife, or one can use a Dremel tool with a Saw bit.


First, started by removing the end piece at the rear of the Stowage compartment. Be careful and not remove too much from the rail on the bottom.



When removing the end piece, cut flush with the bottom rail.

Then removal of the floor piece and sides from the Stowage compartment area.

Next time I do this, Dremel tool

And this is what you should get after everythings said and done.


After alittle clean up.


Total time spent: 2 hours by hand.
Number of fingers removed: None.

I do not see any blood. Congratulations. Every time I do something like that I end up making a blood sacrifice to the deities of modeling.

Great progress, I have the M3A1/2 in my stash so i will be following this build.

OK, here we go. Installing the Stowage Compartment from Griffon today.

In this photo there's an "L" Shape piece that must be remove from the inside of the side wall or the Griffon part will not fit. Also make sure that the front, towards the gun mount is squared PERFECT, or the PE will not fit correctly.

Next is the installing for the dividers. Still working on those. Hopefully I'll have that photo here before too long.

UPDATE: Did some work on frame. Almost destoryed the boogies in the process. Was able to recover from that mishap.

OMG, It's been that long since I've touched this build!!!!! Did you miss me? LOL. I know, with every bullet. LMAO. I'M BACK!!!!!!

Well, it's time to get back into this build since I'm no longer driving Over the road.

First off, I've had to disappear from this build due to Life. I won't get into that. This is not the place for that.

Second, I'd like to thank everyone who's put up with the "spams", James, Bill C., Jim B. over at Automaker, Bob C. also, and anyone else that got them. Frickin' viruses. It was not my intent to cause any harm to anyone here.

So, with all of that out of the way. It's time for a major update.

When we last left our hero, I was in the process of working on the fighting compartment area and putting in the Griffon PE set #L35A039, the 75mm storage rack under the 75mm gun.

Well, after many attempts to put this in, this is were I stopped and Life took over. The challenge I was having troubles lining up the PE's so the brass tubes that hold the ammo would be level.

I'll have some photo's of this area in question posted later day.

Ok, I hope I did this right with the photo. LOL.


I had to enlarge the holes somewhat because the tabs for the PE's would slide and bow. Note: There is some bowing. Very tight fits.
