The 1/48 Black Dog accessories really make these Tamiya and Plus Model Humvees. I'm waiting for the PK modern soldiers to try out and crossing my fingers that they will fit. I'm still a long ways to finishing this Generation Kill Roadblock dio. Here's some pics of the WIP and the movie 3 humvees(the 3 in the last 2 pics) and shot up truck. The Canvas top was made with a latex surgical glove. Soak it in hot water, drape it with white glue, and later go back to cut and superglue to fix ends.

Here's a little more progress. The command truck is done minus the figures and some supplies thrown in the back. The 50cal humvee needs a spare tire(miliput I guess) and a water can rack on the back. I've started the third humvee open top build. Depending on the figures, I may rearrange the scene accordingly. I'm already thinking of leaving out the Yellow truck (I was going to cut most of it away to fit the scene anyways). To be seen still

Looking good Greg. The canvas top came out very well.
How will you manage to paint the interiors?

Hi Sean, the roofs aren't glued on , and I go by the Shep Paine theory "if you can see it, you can paint it" so probably will brush paint most of it. I like to glue almost everything in place first to ensure the glue doesn't create messes on the base coats when fiddling them into place. Cheers
