I wanted to post this up for all those building the LTVP7 or AAVP7 with the old style suspension (the non bradley, non RAM/RS)
Proper track tension on these vehicles should have the track OFF of the last 2 roadwheels. The track will be about 1-5/8" off the second to last roadwheel, which will cause it to be completely clear of the last roadwheel. I dont remember what the TM spec is (there was one) for exactly how high off the roadwheel it was, but we just used our fingers to check...about 2 finger widths above the 2nd to last roadwheel.
See the photo below for clarification.....you dont know how many models ive seen with the track touching all the roadwheels...good way to prep yourself to throw a track while in a turn!
