I'm looking for photos, drawings, etc of T-55 w/ERA. This version was/ is used by Soviet/ Russian Naval Infantry.

I don`t know if it`s the ERA version as I really don`t know jack of T55`s but I made this walkaround a few weeks ago in a warmuseum in holland. People told me it wa sone of the first T55`s ever so maybe that is of some help

There are a couple shots in "Soviet/Russian Armor and Artillery Design Practices: 1945 to present". I'm afraid my scanner is kaput or I'd post a couple. For what its worth, this reference shows one vehicle with Kontakt-5 armor, and it looks pretty much the same as when its put on a T-72 or T-80.

Have you tried asking at www.Tank-Net.org? IIRC, several of the guys there have nice close-up pics of T-55s with ERA (even the newer ones with larger guns IIRC).

I'll ask them too when I get there.
