I found an article by John Ratenberger describing how he 'bashed' an F60L to make a 2 pounder portee. I'd really like to see some of the photos of John's work - but they seem to have 'fallen off the edge' in the original article (all I see are red x's).
Did anyone save the photos by any chance?
Thanks
Trevor
PS - is there a time limit / space limit for images in forum messages??

At Kitmaker there are limits to both the size of pictures you can store and also maximum amount of disk space that a user can use. After time some users run out of room and must delete some images to make room for new pictures. Similar restrictions apply to several/most free Internet image hosting sites. Hope this helps.

Thanks for explaining that Jan.
I understand it now - but its a pity - there's some great stuff 'lost' out there!
(Hopefully, someone will have saved some of John's images).
Cheers

Hi Graeme,
Thanks for the link. It's a great article - I liked your approach - (it was a little less scary than the other one that had you chop up 3 different kits!!!). I used it to make my LRDG F30 with a Breda in the back.
The 2 pounder porteee seems to have a totally reworked rear deck on the back of a F30 or F60L - with what looks like 2 different levels and a fair bit of paraphenalia for locking the 2 pdr and its wheels down and stowing the ramps. John's article (I think) shows some of this work - which I was hoping to copy.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to reply - its really appreciated. And thanks for the original article too - I bet there's a quite a few of us who have gone down that road!
Rgds
