Yeah so I've had this model for sometime now and after experimenting with other models doing using weathering techniques and blackwashing and what not I decided to do that with the model. Its been a good year since ive put it together so I have no idea what it is.

This is the Tamiya M41 Walker Bulldog Light Tank. It was buile between the Korean and Vietnam wars. Itwas used extensively by the S. Vietnamese during the Vietnam war. Model looks pretty good. However, three-color Nato camo is incorrect for this time period vehicle. It would have been overall olive drab or dark green.

Alright thanks for letting me know what kind of tank this is. I didnt camo it though, thats "dirt". I painted it a OD Green, put the decals on, then weathered and blackwashed it

For my taste, the dark areas at the front hull and front of turrett look too black to me. It looks like you used chalks? to weather....I would go easy with the black. But then again, I always go for subtlety, it's a matter of personal taste. When I need a darker color than the brown I have, I mix it with a little black....I think it looks more natural than straight black. Otherwise, good job, I like your logical thinking about where the crew would dirty up the paint. Keep it up!

Your doing Great. Your first Weathering attempt is a lot better than mine was.

Good paint and assembly overall. My taste runs to lighter weathering but you did yours to your taste and that's good. I think I see what you were aiming for and I think you got there. From working on my AFV version, I learned from the guys here that the exhaust ran very hot and caused the shrouds over the mufflers to heat up, buring off the paint and rusting prematurely.
