Hi all could anyone advise me where to obtain the same sort of wire as Legend provide. I have run out , having made too many errors.

I am not positive it will be the same wire, but a really good place to look for replacement wire would be , go to your local arts and crafts store and look at the Jewlers wire

Picture-hanging wire comes pre-braided and is, I think, copper alloy, but it's expensive. The cheapest source is domestic electrical cable - just take off the insulation and you have some nice slender braided copper wire in there. And you can untwist it, take out some strands, and retwist them to make a thinner cable again.

Hi Charles,
Do you mean insulated wire provided with some Legend conversion kits like those in this picture?

Ah. Slight misunderstanding there. Try Radio Shack or your local equivalent - they sell very fine insulated wire for use in tiny electrical items. And I believe there are model companies that do some pre-coloured wire, which may be covered - little.cars springs to mind.
