Ask in the buy and sell forum if anybody has leftover lamps from their MiniArt kits. These usually come with extras, and somebody might be kind enough to send you them, or even sell them cheaply.

Other types of street lamps might be easier to scratch. Make a shallow cone from a circle of thin cardboard as the cover/shade. A small ball shaped bulb, and then some wire to attach it to some rod or dowel. See image below.

Earings - get some cheap costume jewelry for the ornate metal work. Our Good Will stores have them sometimes.
For the glass part - get a hard plastic "Bic" brand ball point pen. you can sand it down to a round shape (from the octogon shape), then polish and finish with future floor wax. Then cut it to length. Put the pen on a rotary tool to help.
here is a quick reference to what I did in Sparrow

Stretch some sprue for the small details and use some regular sprue and maybe some putty or Sculpy for the plended parts.

Matthew

Go with the above.

Have you done as I suggested in reply to one of your earlier posts and actually looked through the features on these sites?? Certainly there are some excellent articles on how to create groundwork etc cheaply and from memory there is one (it may even just be a post thread) about making lamp posts.

If you actually want the lamp to shine, get an old pen unscrew everything and you got the pole, now you need to be good at wiring (ive got a mate that does it for me) he like attaches a light and puts it in the pen but then i scratch build the lantern and put it on top hope that helps
