Anyone have some decent photos of this system? I have the base vehicles TM via the mil-mod site but lack any good details of the method of mounting the hawk launcher in the rear. With the nice Nimix Hahawk set and aM548 I'd love to build one. thanks.

Get the Bradley book by Hunnicutt. It covers the 113 and variants. I'll see if I can get some scans for you.

I really enjoyed my time at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Try here: Hawk
On the first and last page there are some pictures of the M113-chassisied Hawk missile carrier. It is labeled as an XM548. Pictures are distant, but you can see the M548 chassis.

Thanks for the help everyone. I've got the Hunicutt bradley book and most of the above photos. Also have downloaded any photos I could find on the web. What I really need is some pics of the mechanisms under to raise the launcher into position. I know these units are now history in the U.S., But are there any on display around the country.

Dohhh!!!!!! I've seed this mount before! I wasn't thinking modified M548 chassis! Jeez, my brain is getting overloaded. I need to figure how to get a second hard drive for my brain housing group, or a faster processor.
