Amazing tutorial on how to make the trees Anthony! Thanks a lot for sharing!

Certainly looks like a lot of work though, not for the faith hearted I guess!

Hi Jon

If you forget the drying times involved a tree will take only around four hours actual work.. Quicker than you might imagine.

That´s a cool solution, for making a tree!
I will see, how to include one in (one of) my next dio(s).
I only found treemendus´ website, perhaps there are more solutions like this... but available in german e-shops.

greetings...

Your dio is great in my opinion, a nice extreme look that really looks like "weather".

The tree is great too, and I have to say I think the trunk and branches you did are very good. I wonder if it is possible to use rolled up balls of cat and carpet fluff for the foliage . . . I have plenty of that around the house!

Thanks, this was interesting as I am starting to work on a small (1/72) dio with an SP and a burnt out truck, but I want slushy, not snowy, but you may have inspired me to add some tree - or perhaps a shrub or two at least.

Thanks for the info. I will see, when and how I build a dio with trees.
So I would use one, with metallic parts as a base. Ready-made trees are good looking, but very expensive too.
