What an excellent figure this VC sniper with Moisin-Nagant is. The sculpting is very natural, face, pose, folds in the clothing; very very nice.

I wonder if Vladimir can make us a North Vietnamese tanker or two, not necessarily in the turret. They would be good company for a Tamiya T-55 or T-34/85 in NVA colours. Other vehicles used by the NVA have appeared as well so a crew would surely be welcomed, I think.

Warriors has a Vietnamese tank crew: http://www.squadron.com/NoStock.asp?item=WA35498

Of course I agree that more choices are better for consumers and you can expect excellent quality from Bravo-6.

Pitty.but I have no good detail info about Aussie tankers uniform.
Only some photos in Osprey book...not enough for good sculpting.

I am not a Vietnam conflict modeller, but I couldn't resist these:

I have heard it said that 1/35 figures are really armor accessories; so while I thought there may be some good US soldiers, I would have never suspected there would be such excellent Viet Cong figures!

This era is obviously your passion; so I am sure will continue to explore related ideas... out of curiosity then, do you have an interest in other conflicts or periods?

Thanks for your words!
Really,Vietnam era is my passion and "first love" and I`ll be continue it.
To my opinion this theme is endless and very interesting and bright.
Also I`m feeling interest for different exotic "neo-colonial" wars of 1950-70th,I`m not excluding something from this era.

Interesting to hear about your growing interest in those neo-colonial wars before the Vietnam conflict. It could be interesting to see some French figures from the Indo-China conflict, especially Dien Bien Phu or Brits/French/Egyptians from the Suez Crisis. In all these, armour was involved [and available as a kit nowadays]. The Israeli-Arab wars until 1973 are also an often neglected subject ofcourse.

That depends who you speak to - I feel the inverse, that armour and vehicles are the accessories to the scene, and the figures and the interaction between them are the generally the main feature.

That is encouraging to hear as even when you exhaust NVA, ARVN, French Legionaries, Green Beret trainers; there are still Gurkhas in Borneo, Belgian paras in the Congo, Cubans in Angola, Rhodesia’s Selous scouts, CIA pilots, mercenaries...

Thanks again for the figures; and I am looking forward to the Australian release.

It was a well known figure maker; and while I agree with your conclusion, I think he was referring to the sales part of the equation where most 1/35 figures are sold to modellers who want a figure to stand next to their AFV. So the implication is that without corresponding AFV subjects, figures won't sell as well.
