Oddly enough planesandglue.com has the DML M1A2 SEP for $38.21 plus shipping. I bought an M1A1 AIM from there before and the shipping should be reasonable.
Luckymodel.com has a LEGEND M1 engine set for $30 with free shipping.

As Evan said, planesandglue.com has the Dragon M1A2 SEP selling at a good price. Go for it.

I've had this problem as well. For the past year or more, I haven't seen an online store that has had the SEP in stock, and now the AIM has been going out of stock as well. There's always Ebay, but I prefer buying from retailers, as I'm then more sure of what I'm getting. I wonder if there is a problem with Dragon's supply chain, or if they've stopped producing it altogether.

HERE is the link to a SEP on Ebay, probably the one Anthony was referring to, but besides for that, I can't offer much help. If you do manage to get one and build it, do a build log here. There are many Abrams experts that can help you out, as well as other members who have built some great models of it.

EDIT: Thanks for that link, Paul. That should be a great help.

My local hobby shop has both in stock, I am not sure what the price (almost always less than retail) is but but shipping would be $10.00. Let me know I can get you the info. They had 1 SEP & 2 AIMS.

I found this CMK ESHOP having the kit you want in stock. It is quite expensive 33 EUR. It also says it is intended for the Tamiya kit and not Dragon. You can also read the 4 pages of instructions here.

There is still one left at my LHS here in Germany.

It is 27.95 Euro.

Unfortunately he ships only within Europe, but I can purchase it for you.

It will become expensive: 27.95 Euro plus shipping to USA.

How much you like for shipping and what would be the complete cost with everything together, and how would you like to have payment as well And are you sure its the CMK one and not the ledgened one. I only want the CMK kit.

Hello,

it is the CMK kit.

Shipping costs are 14,05 Euro including insurance.

Payment via Paypal.

So total amount would be 42,00 Euro (~ 60USD)

Let me think about it k how long do you think it will last at the store right now, is it possable for you to get it for me and then to have you ship it at a later date when i have all of the money needed to have it sent then?
