I've found that you can't link to MSN Groups pictures.

Easy, your link is incorrect. You need to take out put.url.http:// out of it and it should work for you. As far as I know you can link to pictures located in the Armorama MSN group. This should probably work for other MSN groups as well. Places like Yahoo! do not allow for direct picture linking unless they host your website.

I guess I am blessed with years of experience regarding these "web" things. I will be glad (and many of you will be less frustrated) when I can launch our new PhotoPost forum/gallery that will allow not only direct uploading of images to the site, but also a system for users to give feedback and interact on each photo posted.
Easy - Marty was indeed correct. I removed the parts of the automated IMG tag insertion and your image comes up fine now. When you add a URL you need to remove the part that says
"http://put.url.here/image.file".
