hallo all
i have a kit of Dragon 1/35 scale german pionier Kursk 1943 the instructions only give colours for gunze and italeri if i have to use tamiya colours which one should i use?

Have a look here for a paint colour conversion chart: http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/colorcharts/colorcharts_2.asp
While Tamiya paints are excellent for vehicles, and are fine when starting to paint figures, when you get more addicted to figure painting you may want to consider changing to a brand like Vallejo which seems to have a finer pigment and is better suited to figure painting. Model Railway Specialists in Plumstead are (as far as I know) the only place in CPT stocking Vallejo.

thanks for your replay and advices
i had a look at the comparison charts you have suggested very usefull !!!
i know Mike Trow at mrs from many years i was unawere that he stocks vallejo paints he has a lot of other colours like humbrol and tamiya that he gets from jeffery stain importers
by the way JS Sales importers has closed to the pubblic and only sales to dealers now as is little factory shop is not longer in use .
