I think you are right about it being an M240.

is it mounted on an AAVP7A1? you see some mounting points on the hull.

Appears to be a M240B (Ground - has the folded bipod & buttstock) mounted on a scissors MG mount like on a LAV.

Similiar ammo bracket as this, but not with the tube support bracket:


It appears to be mounted on an AAVP7, but this is hard to tell...

M240B standard. Guess the Corps broke down and started using the Armys UNneccessary Heat shields.

We took them off when vehicle mounted as they were worthless and interfered with the gun shields
