wow Aleš you continue to astound me with your ability to find incredibly useful photos at a moments notice! This photo will help me a lot. if anyone has any others i would love to see them.

Ok i hate to post just to bump this back up to the top but otherwise i imagine it will just never be read again. Again (at risk of annoying a lot of people), i would be greatful if anyone has any pics ,(even the smallest), to share.

The so-called “Bedspring Armor” was only seen in and around Berlin during the final battles in 1945. Theres not many who would fancy standing in the middle of that, armed with a camera, so don´t be expecting too many more images, although they must exist somewhere as there is film footage available (see the bristish pathe site). I have quite a few books on the T34, but don´t have any more images than these shown here.

thanks for pointing to that website Frank. i had a dig around but couldn't find anything, however there is still some very interesting footage on there which was well worth a look.

right well thanks for everyone's help. the pics are fairly useful as reference to the bedsprings but unfortunately i still can't properly make out any of the decals so i think i will probably go for one of the combinations suggested by dragon and hope that they are right.
