after the great response to my .50cal ammo box question,here's another...can anyone provide pics of US ration boxes through the years,from 1940s to the ppresent.I only includethis question here in armor cos the boxes decorate the backs of every major AFV of the last 60 years!many thanks in advance

If you do a search on the site, someone has C-rats available. MRE's can be had from Verlinden and are in the Tamiya Modern Weapons set.

hey,usarmymodels.com is a superb site,i am definitely sorted for references for the WW2 era ration box,now i need pics of the Vietnam C-Rats and MRE cartons from the eighties onwards,sorry to sound 'needy' but the info feedback from you guys is First Class!

I got a sheet with Crats printed on them (cut outs) with the Academy M-151a1 MUtt with trailer. They are Nam and pre MRE. JUst forevery ones info, they are called TOTM's now for Tailored Operational Training Meal. Haven't eaten one yet, but I have a Cheese Tortalini in tomatoe sauce. and pears. Sure beats the green eggs and ham. Though on my tank, that was the meal we all fought for. Turkey loaf and pork slices weren't toobad, but watch out for the steak and potaoes and the spagetti
