Hi Stefano
This type of question comes up on quite a regular basis and to maybe get your question answered quicker try the sites google powered search facility - top right corner.
Whilst talking mainly about Vallejo colours not Tamiya acrylic this thread may be of use.

It's one active only a short while ago. Many don't like Tamiya paints for brush figure painting so you may consider getting Vallejo Model Color which is excellent for brush work.

In the Tamiya colors:
Tunic XF-65 Field Grey
Trousers German Grey ( can't remember the #)
1939-1941
I agree with the last post, Vallejo acrylics are much better paints for brushing than Tamiya.
Good luck,
Henry

Actually Tamiya's XF-65 Field Grey is one of the worse colours, IMO, to represent early - mid veldgrau. It's simply way too green.

The prewar woolen field uniforms had field gray (i.e. gray-green) jackets and stone gray pants. Shortly before the war, the color for the pants was switched to matching field gray as well, but not all uniform pants were reissued before the war began, so both types could be seen in the early campaigns.
