http://www.classicfighters.co.nz/aircraft/tanksww2.htm this doesn't look right to me....... maybe its because if you look close the tracks look like rubber bands?

Heh heh - I think it looks fake because it is fake.
It looks like a full-scale mock-up vehicle. Not as sophisticated as a visimod - like used at the National Training Center - but more like a wooden or cardboard shell put on top of a small car like a Volkswagen...
Interesting, to have one and drive it around the neighborhood...

As Gunnie says, it looks funny, because it’s a ‘mock up’. A wooden or plastic tank on a driven sub frame. Basically a tank made out of wood or other material put over a car or truck. Monty did this before El Alamein. He put frames that looked like trucks over tanks to mask them from german planes.
Probably used during re-enactments.

you can see the sprockets are flat w/ painted on shadows....also the barrel is too thin
