Hello everyone I am currently working on an urban diorama and was hoping to maybe include some sort of 1930s/40s car for the background. Most model car manufacturers tend to concentrate on post war classics but is there anyone out there who knows of any good resource of earlier car models? Thanks

I tend to work in 1/35, so anything that would look reasonable beside that would be great. But slightly larger or smaller would probably work too. Thanks again

There's several resin cars out there, but they are quite costly.
No need to put too many on one diorama. Civilian cars were scarce during the war. Many were impounded by the army. A street filled with civilian cars in WWII would not look too realistic, if depicted on the European continent. I know both my grandfather's cars were impounded.

You're going to have your work cut out for you finding 1/35 autos, which is why you don't see them often in military dioramas. The most popular scales for "car guys" is 1/43 and 1/24 -25.
