hey guys, before i can really afford an airbrush i ahve started Dml's Jagtiger with zimm as a quickie.
This is a nice build so far, the engine wont be seen, the hatch ont he rear deck was a pain and it needed a bit of precision sanding. i lost 2 pe bits off the kit ¬¬

James, thanks for sharing. The build appears to be progressing nicely. I almost bought one of these two weeks ago. The engine detail looks fascinating and I will be interested in following your build.

Coming along nicely. I particularly like what you've done with distressing the exhausts. I take it they are PE?

I have to agree with Jan that the rear of the tank is good and has fantastic potential. Will be watching this thread with interest.

Jan and AJB, thankyou for your interest!
i hope the rear will go better than it usually does, so far all has recieved a wash of oils, and the side skirts have a dark wash around the joins, the engine deck has oil splatters atm , and i dont know how the rear will turn out,
the covers are PE, and i dented it a tiny bit, the black paint will be replaced with some pigments,
! thanks!

James, I wonder if the guys from Tank Overhaul would want to tackle revitalizing that mess. Seriously, extremely good weathering and I really like what you've done with the rear and around the exhausts. Your sixth pictures details come 95% of the way towards duplicating a picture that I have in one of my reference books on German armour. Of course that picture doesn't have the Tiger rolling over a tanker truck sized container of paint.
Cheers,
Jan

Thanks Marc!
i added a little bit of "wet" mud, and some gloss on some areas for even wetter mud,
details ahve been done, im still not happy with front upper of the tank, bit " boring"
